David B. Colmar - President/ CEO
Real Estate President of Naughton Realtors - 1982-1998, an independent real estate company established in 1933 serving the South Suburbs of Chicago.
Acquired major competitor and affiliated with Coldwell Banker as Santefort-Naughton in 1989. Expanded to Indiana and Michigan and renamed company Coldwell Banker 1st American in August 1991, which grew to one of the largest Coldwell Banker affiliates in the U.S. with 20 offices, over 500 sales associates and $700 million in annual sales.
Founded and currently serves as CEO of Multi-Office Broker Group (MOB) of Coldwell Banker Residential Affiliates in 1991, a national group of larger franchisees representing 300 offices and 12,000 agents.
Founder of Naughton Development 1985-1998, construction and joint ventures of approximately 200 town homes, 100 single family residences, golf facilities and more.
Founded Homegard of Illinois, Inc. 1985-1998, a home warranty company for real estate homebuyers and sellers serving over 1800 customers a year.
Established 1st American Management Company 1992-1995, serving the needs of commercial and residential landlords, homeowner associations and leasing companies.
Sold Coldwell Banker 1st American in 1998 to NRT, the largest residential real estate brokerage firm in the US.
1998-2000 Senior VP for Coldwell Banker Real Estate San Diego County with 18 offices, 625 sales associates, and $2.75 billion in annual sales.
Established Colmar & Associates in 2000 and continues to operate this consulting business to serve the real estate profession and other related businesses.
Served from 1973-1981 as Director of Parks and Recreation overseeing acquisition and development of parks, facilities and operation of programs for a suburban Chicago community of 35,000. Responsible to publicly elected Board of Commissioners.
Other Member of Board of Directors of The Beverly National Bank from 1992-1998. Chairman, Compensation Committee. The bank went public in 1996, sold in 1998 to St. Paul Federal, which later sold to Charter One Financial in 1999.
Member of Board of Directors of South Suburban Hospital from 1986-1996. Chairman of the Board 1993-1996. The hospital merged with the Advocate Health Systems in 1996.
Colmar continues to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of Pasquinelli Construction Company in Chicago, privately owned and one of the nations largest homebuilders building 2000 homes per year.
