Whether you
shop at Costco or Sam's Club, almost everyone knows that you can
find discounts when you buy in "bulk." When a company
can sell more of their product at one time, they will generally
discount that product in order to encourage larger buying and less
overhead costs per transaction. It makes sense.
When operating
a real estate company, bulk discounts are difficult to find and
even more difficult to maintain. So rather than asking our companies
to find discounts on their own, we do it for them. By uniting over
600 real estate offices and the buying power of more than 25,000
real estate agents, we have created a buying force able to negotiate
significant discounts in the marketplace.
For example,
through our office supply program, not only does each real estate
company (no matter how large or small) receive national pricing
discounts, each receives a 3-4% cash rebate on whatever they buy.
For some companies, this can mean an extra $5,000-25,000 a year
that goes straight to their bottom line. They can also allow agents
to order and receive discounts while helping the company increase
their rebate. In the past two years, our clients have received more
than $250,000 in savings and rebates through this program. What's
even more valuable is that no one has to check prices constantly
or make sure that the company is being competitive because we handle
it for them. This allows administrators and controllers to focus
on what matters, the real estate operations, and not the trivial
things that can add to the work load of an employee.
